Let There Be Music is an Atlanta based charity that teaches music to
children that have been abused, negelected, or abandoned. We believe the gift
of music gives all people a powerful means for expression and building self
confidence.
How it works - A child interested in music will be given a sponsor
and a music teacher. The music teacher will donate his or her time while the
sponsor provides an instrument and any important accessories. We try to find
used intruments in good condition so sponsorship costs around $200.
How can I help?
- Spread the word! Add a link to our site to your site, blog, or MySpace page.
Tell people you know about what we are doing.
- Musicians can donate time to teach children.
- Sponsor a child. Provide an instrument or funds needed to purchase the
right equipment.
- Volunteer to work with us to raise funds or organize events.
